AnswerGarden
AnswerGarden is an online feedback tool that allows for real time responses, as well as allowing many users to respond simultaneously. AnswerGarden can be used to gain responses to a question regarding a learning area or feedback on a service. A benefit of AnswerGarden is that it does not require an account to set up a question or respond to one, something that is very beneficial in the classroom as it requires less time, as the students don't need to go through a lengthy signing up process. Below is an example of how an AnswerGarden can be used. In the example, the question was used following an activity on using avatars in the classroom. Responses to the question can be seen below the question,.
One interesting feature of AnswerGarden is that if the same response is given multiple times it appears larger (as seen with the response "about me " above).
Possible classroom examples of using AnswerGarden includes using it as a reflection tool to gauge how students enjoyed a lesson or an activity. It can also be used prior to a lesson to see the students prior knowledge on topics.
